Tower 200, The Body by Jake Workout System
Tower 200
This is for those of you looking for Body By Jake Tower 200 reviews. The Tower 200 is a bodybuilding/muscle building system that attaches to your door, so I would say that it could be used almost anywhere, most especially to build muscle at home. That’s why it makes a good gym system for your home workout program.
In this review, I’ll let you know what the Tower 200 will do for you, I’ll let you know a little bit about Jake Steinfeld, what you get in the Tower 200 Body by Jake package, what real users of the system have to say, the pros and cons of the Tower system, and where you can get it.

Tower 200 Reviews
The Tower 200 is a total body workout system promoted by Randy Couture, a 5 time MMA champion. You’ll see him in all the commercials for Body By Jake Tower 200, he does the exercise DVDs, too. The Tower 200 is a system of pulleys and straps and bodylastics-type resistance bands that fit over your door, any door, so you have an instant home gym that’s supposed to give you a total body workout and also be the “best home gym”.
The Body By Jake Tower 200 motto is “You gotta door, you gotta gym”, so this system is good for home gyms, offices, or dorms, where there’s a door, but little space. Its’ specifications say it will fit on any door.
The Tower200 offers 200 pounds of resistance while you do your bicep curls, crunches and squats. You use multi-tension power cords, and everything you need is included, like they say, there’s no dumbbells, no other machines, no memberships to the gym needed.
The nice thing about the Tower 200 is that it’s all assembled, you just attach it to your door. It takes up zero space, and you can install it in seconds. The thing I liked too, is that it has steel frame construction and a lifetime warranty. Just in case it falls apart at any time, you can return it.
There’s also a dropdown workout chart included with the 200 exercises that the Tower200 recommends. Lots of users hang the chart behind the system, on their door, then they can look at it and do the different exercises.
What Will Body By Jake Tower 200 Do For Me?
You’ll also get a couple of recommended routines on dvd, called the Tower 200 workouts. One is the 11-minute workout, and the other is the 21 minute “supreme mother of all workouts”, both by Randy Couture. If you even do the 11 minute workout, users say that you’ll get ripped abs, lose weight, and build muscle. Also, the Tower 200 door gym reinforces that you can at least give up 11 minutes a day to get in shape, and that’s when you’ll see these results.
Who Is Jake?
Jake Steinfeld is the founder of Body by Jake, and has been producing fun and easy to use fitness products for 30 years. I googled him, and apparently this guy is an actor, and also a “fitness personality”. Jake once had his own TV show called Body by Jake. He also trained Harrison Ford for the movie “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom”.
What’s Included With The Tower 200 Body By Jake?
- The Tower 200 workout system
- 21-minute workout DVD
- Bonus 80 lbs. resistance (on top of the 200 lbs.)
- Guide/manual with 200 exercises
- Drop-down exercise chart
- Hand grips
- Ankle grips
What Do Real Users Say?
These are what real users have to say about the Tower 200, and these are not from the official website. I searched all over the internet for these:
“Great design, and durability, a strong door is recommended, as the higher u go with the weight, is the greater strain that is put on it. All said and done, good exercise tool, best buy I have made so far.” – Trevwill, Amazon.com
“I bought this as a birthday gift for my teenage son, who had seen an ad on tv. He has it in his room and has been working out a lot on it. He really loves it. My husband also likes it a lot and he has been using it. It doesn’t take a lot of space (hangs on the back of his bedroom door), the instructions are easy and clear, there are different workouts to make it challenging and varied. I might get another one for my husband for his birthday.” – goodmom, Amazon.com
“This product is amazing. It challenges you and your body every step of the way… Easy set up done in less then five minutes. I also recommend using the video to work out with. I give it five stars across the board” – Chris
Anything Negative?
The reviews gave the Tower 200 4 out of 5 stars. There were some users who were concerned that the construction was sturdy enough. Most comments from users were about the wrist bands getting stretched out and not providing enough flex. I think users were able to contact the company to get free replacement bands for them, though. See Xtreme NO for a good supplement recommendation.
Summary
After researching all of the offers, the one that I liked was from the official Body by Jake Tower 200 website. You can try out the Tower200 for $14.95 with free shipping. But you also get 2 bonuses, the 21-minute workout, and the extra 80 lbs. of resistance, that you don’t get anywhere else.
And the price is better on the official BodyByJake Tower200 website. Their total, including shipping and handling came to around $175. Even on Amazon (item #556869), which usually has the lowest prices, the Tower 200 price was about $180. So I would buy Tower 200 from the official website.

The design of http://buildmuscletoday.net/exercise-equipment/tower-200 is wicked! You obviously know how to keep a reader entertained. Between your wit and your style, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…Ha Ha!) I enjoyed your Tower 200 | Build Muscle Today blog.
Can an 11 year old use the Tower 200 as a strength training program for football and judo? I do not want to get him involved in weights yet so I was wondering if the Tower 200 type of resistance exercises would be good?
James, Thanks for the help. I am not sure where I got the info on the body bugg v3 not having the ability to track calories. I like the fact the sensewear does everything including sleep efficiency but not the price. I like the gowear fit because it does everything but you can’t log food daily and the price is better than the sensewear. I like the body bugg price and logging of calories eaten but nothing for sleep tracking.
So I guess it comes down to three things: price, daily calorie logging and sleep information. Which one am I willing to sacrifice? BTW I never take this long making up my mind – about anything. My fear is that if I get the gowearfit I will spend more time on another website tracking my calories when I should be up moving! I am easily distracted and lead astray as it is.
