Insanity Asylum Workout Review
Insanity Asylum
I’ll share with you here the 2nd part to the Insanity workout review, so this will be called the Insanity Asylum workout review. It’s Shaun T’s second program, a 2nd level, let’s say, to the original Insanity workout. So if you thought Insanity was hard, hold on. This one requires you to be in shape from the first program before beginning this one.
In this article about Insanity the Asylum workout, I’ll do a Insanity Asylum review, let you know what the Asylum workout will do for you, talk a little bit about Shaun T., the originator of the program, let you know what’s included with the product, also give some testimonials of real live users of Asylum, and the negative feedback that I uncovered in my research of Insanity Asylum.

Insanity Asylum Workout Review
The Insanity Asylum is a 30-day sports training extreme workout/extreme fitness program for those not afraid to really commit to an intense workout routine. It operates with extreme cross-training techniques used by professional athletes. And, like I said, it proclaims to do this in 30 days, which it will, but you have to stick with it.
Whereas the Insanity workout program was a 60-day exercise program, this one assumes that you’re in decent shape and wanting to get in better athletic shape, so you can do it in 30 days. Their motto is: “Look and Feel Like an Athlete in 30 Days”.
As opposed to Insanity, the Asylum workout home fitness program uses a few tools. Not many, mind you, but Insanity really used none (except for a floor mat). This program uses an agility ladder and a “speed rope”, which is a modern hybrid version of a jump rope. I like to use tools, because I tend to get bored quickly, so the more things to distract me, the better.
The Insanity Aslym workout uses what it calls the “Five Pillars of Fitness” for all-body exercise. This is where the cross training comes in. It combines explosive movements, sculpting your body, balance, flexibility routines, and lots of cardio.
These are all combined and inspired by real-life sports, including track (Shaun T’s specialty), swimming, skiing, high jump, football, basketball, mountain climbing and more. These are drills that are used by pro athletes.
What Will Insanity Asylum Workout Do For Me?
Insanity Asylum is a workout for someone who wants a body like an athlete. It seriously claims to get you into the best shape of your life. If you look at the before and after pictures on the website, you’ll see abs, muscles, weight loss, and redefining and sculpted bodies (read about Xtreme NO here).
Who is Shaun T?
You can read more about Shaun T here, but basically Shaun got a name for himself as a track and field star. He has a BS in Sports Science, with a minor in Theater & Dance. You can really see this in his workout videos, because he’s good at choreographing the routines, and he moves nicely.
What’s Included With the Insanity Asylum Workout?
This is a 6-workout dvd set from 25 minutes to 60 minutes long. Every dvd concentrates on a different thing, like speed & agility, strength, core training, etc. There’s a great video series on the official Insanity Asylum website about each dvd that give you an idea about what you’ll get into.
You also get the tools you’ll need in the program, the agility ladder and the speed rope. But you’ll also get a daily workout calendar (very handy to keep track of where you are), a playbook that’s a step by step guide to your exercise program, and a health nutrition plan.
What Do Real Users Have To Say?
There are around 250 testimonials on the official website, who rated the Insanity Asylum workout 4.7 out of 5 stars. But I’m always a little cautious of these built-in reviews, so I went elsewhere to find more real users. Here’s some of the feedback that I found:
“I’m down 28 pounds now, and I’m gaining a lot of muscle at the same time. I’ve got biceps, triceps, and chest muscles that I never knew I had. My abs, which had started to show a little during Insanity, are continuing to become more apparent.” – Storylover, Amazon.com
“I would rate the Game Day workout the single best workout in the entire Beachbody family of products. You go from sport to sport to sport and the time flies by.” – Dan, Amazon.com
“Get the Best Body of Your Life!” – Jonathan, Ohio
One thing that users said often was that this workout program was fun.
Any Negative Feedback?
Insanity Asylum workout requires some space to work out. You’ll need room for a ladder and to jump rope. So you’ll need some room to move around, more than you needed for the Insanity program.
Lots of users wanted to know what the difference is between the Tony Horton P90x program and the Insanity Asylum workout program. Basically, I think the P90x has more diversity in its exercises and training programs. The Asylum program seems more geared to athletic types of exercises.
One user didn’t like the Insanity Asylum at first, but some time later upgraded his rating because he was starting to get into the cross training more.
Summary
I check out the prices at a couple of places, one was the official website, and one was Amazon, where all products are usually the best priced. But in this case, the prices were the same. The total came to around $105 either way. The official site has a shipping charge, but the totals were the same on both, even including shipping charges.
I would buy Insanity Asylum on the official website. You get a 30-day money back guarantee if you don’t like the product, no questions asked. You also get all of the training tools and 2 bonuses on the official website. You also get all of these things on Amazon, so it really doesn’t matter where you buy the Insanity Asylum workout.
If you are looking for a new workout program to change things up that is on point to helping you achieve increased endurance and muscle confusion, then this is it. I’m a workout addict and this is one of my favorite new products out there. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!
Hormonal weight is resistant, and it doesn’t play by the rule that says , “burn more calories that you consume. Besides, we all know people who eat like a horse and never gain a pound.
